Since 2014, Niagara College KSA (NC KSA) has operated technical and vocational training colleges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in  support of the Vision 2030 initiative and in partnership with the Colleges of Excellence (CoE). Applicants are invited for the position of Facilities Supervisor, Niagara College KSA, Al Majma’ah female campus. Reporting to the Manager, Facilities and Operations, the Facilities Supervisor is responsible for providing assistance on the day to day operations of cleaning, maintenance, logistics and catering services within the campus.

The anticipated start date of this position is ASAP.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Facilities
  • Assist in managing maintenance activities, including and not limited to, the coordination of cleaning, catering and organising general administrative services
  • Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
  • Supervise facility staff and third party in central services, such as reception, cleaning, catering, waste disposal
  • Inspect and report the completed work by contractors and vendors and ensure efficient utilization of facility staff
  • Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures and report to the director of operations
  • Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants
  • Completing inventory on all technical devices and equipment that require preventive maintenance by according to a timetable
  • Utilize a checklist for all technical devices and equipment and create a table for each equipment needs maintenance by date
  • Submit daily reports for all maintenance work done by the maintenance company
  • Submit reports regarding emergency cases
  • Follow-up with the maintenance team and its performance in solving problems
  • Catering
  • Manage the full operation of the campus canteen, including supply, market search, adequate pricing, and hygiene compliance
  • Conduct student satisfaction surveys in coordination with student services
  • Logistics
  • Assist in arranging and coordinating the logistical operations and schedules on campus
  • Supervise the drivers

The successful applicant will require the following qualifications, at a minimum:

  • Three (3) years post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Management, Engineering or a related discipline
  • A minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in operations or facility supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Arabic and English
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office programs and database applications
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution and customer service skills
  • Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in GCC / MENA countries
